Introduction to the Research
Following the design approach of Nikola, the first drone was developed in 1916 by A.M. Low (Gonzalez-Aguilera, 2017). This brought new dynamics to the concept of aerial vehicles and provided aeronautics, researchers and technicians with a new concept that has kept evolving.
With no exception, the advent of drones is considered one of the most vital and useful inventions in the past couple of decades. Drones’ increasing significance and usefulness have expanded their usage to wider contexts and industries. Nonetheless, one specific use for which drones are being recognised is intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance, i.e. for military purposes.
